Queens Mill was built in 1874 and was known locally as the 'Co-op mill'.

Queens Mill  is particularly significant, as it differs from all the other mills built in Longridge.  Firstly, it was built with bricks, as opposed to Longridge stone - these bricks were made with clay and fired locally. Secondly, it was owned by shareholders and registed as the 'Longridge Manufacturing & Spinning Co Ltd'.
