The Longridge Association was a little Society with a membership of 18. They joined the General Union in 1888 and have continued in membership from that year.

The goods made in this District have been of a high class and poundage rate will compare with the best in the general Union. Edward Seed was Secretary up to 1908, and James Carter from 1908 to 1931, both of whom served the Society faithfully and well. The present Secretary is Percy Sharples (1931?). President in 1888, John Sumner, in 1908, James Councell, in 1931, Peter Hall.
