You can see Dick Riley, a delivery-man for Halls Bread and Confectionary business. Sid Horams’ garage is across the road, occupying premises that used to be the blacksmiths and joiners workshops.
The Ivy covered house belonged to Mr Nicholas Swarbrick.
Mr Hall had a bakery and cafe in the premises, now occupied by Grimsargh Social Club.
