Hunslett steam locomotive “West Baldwin”, driver Yeulett with an oil can and T. Bolton a foreman on the right. 


The West Baldwin Locomotive was built by the Hunslet engine company in 1899, purchased new by Douglas Corporation to work on the West Baldwin Reservoir. It came to Preston about 1904 and worked on Spade Mill Extension untill 1907. 


You can see the driver, Yewlett on the left with fireman on the engine- Thomas Bolton, of Mersey Street.
