The official unveiling of the first Blue Heritage Plaque on Paul Heathcote's Resturant.
Bearing a date stone of 1808, it traded as the Quarryman Arms until 1871. later it was converted into cottages. In the early 1900s it housed a cafe and in my memory traded as Cottage Cafe. The Berries Resturant, The Royal Sovereign and Mother India and finally acquired by Paul Heathcote in 1990.
