The presentation of lithograph print of the original Co-operative Hall 393L/26 to Mr Sid Maidment  (President of Longridge Co-operative Society) by Mr Sellers of Berry Lane after his purchase of the item at Messrs. Henry Holden and Son  April 11th 1970. The picture is a print of a drawing and has been dated circa 1879 owing to the existence of the milk float and dress of various shoppers in the picture. The picture also shows the Grocer’s, Footwear shops, Butcher’s and Grocery Warehouse.
