In recent years the Second Floor of the Old Co-op Building had a false ceiling which had been removed when this photograph was taken. This was the main room on the Second Floor which had been the Ballroom before becoming a makeshift Cinema and later an Antiques Fair. The door leads to a small Hall in the 1888 extension and the windows face onto Berry Lane.
