This is a photograph of the Co-op Second Floor with the windows on the left looking out over Berry Lane.  Originally a ballroom to be hired out for dances, it was used as a cinema for the local children for a time after the Palace Cinema closed. Latterly it was used as a cafe and Antiques Fair. The original seating lining the Main Hall can be seen where dancers would sit and talk or wait their turn on the dance floor.
