Lois Rimmer cutting the ribbon at the official opening of the Longridge Old Station building, opened by the Ribble Valley Mayor, Coun Lois Rimmer; Longridge Mayor, Coun Jim Rogerson and County Coun Michael Green. The building was first built in the 1840s and eventually became council offices after the closure of the railway in 1967. Renovation took place in 2010 with a Heritage Lottery Fund grant and the building was converted into a cafe, heritage centre and workstation.
